…and I do mean literally. I’ve gotten enough nicks and cuts with this balding clipper to contribute to the overall headache you may receive if you decide to purchase either finish color of the otherwise identical Remington Shortcut Clipper. I first purchased the gray matte-colored one when it first came out (that’s the one that has over 150 reviews on it). I highly recommend not paying too much attention to any review that was written BEFORE they had time to run into the major battery charger and/or battery problems that this model has, regardless of the finish. I do have to say there is one positive about it, and that’s the ergonomic design…it’s about the most comfortable way to keep your hair short by yourself that I could possibly imagine. Of course, that is when THE UNIT IS ACTUALLY WORKING. So, after that first one went out on me, I had gotten so used to the comfort that I decided to try this chrome one…thinking that perhaps Remington had…

This item works great. I’m able to cut my hair, by myself, in half the time. The adjustability is great. They cut your entire head evenly and quickly. They are lighter than standard clippers, and there’s no cord to get in the way. They do cut the hair into very fine pieces that get everywhere, so use it somewhere that’s easy to cleanup.

I have had at least four other hair clippers and this gives the best cut of all. I shave my hair once in a while, using clippers, but there had always been the stray shadow and it seemed to take longer. With the Remington Shortcut Clipper Set it took less time and there where no shadows, perhaps it’s the longer “blade” or the curvature but it’s the best clipper I’ve ever used, now I can retire the others littering the room. |
